Tong Long Kung Fu is a very aggressive in your face fighting style. The main focus of a Tong Long fighter is to explode with a lethal flurry of hits using mainly the hands and fists aiming at all the nerves in your opponents arms, head and neck to overload their fight or flight sensory system, disable them from the use of their limbs (similar to when a Muay Thai fighter kicks his opponent in the leg and they can’t walk on that leg anymore) and then finally to knock them out with a power strike and all of this is to happen withing seconds of the fight starting.
There are a few different types of Tong Long Kung Fu and the style we specialise in is also known as Southern Praying Mantis Kung Fu or Chow Gar Tong Long. Tong Long has a history for being very practicial and for not waisiting time training techniques that are for show or exercise. This styles focus has soley been developed for people who wanto to be able to effectively defend themselves in a real life or death situation.
